Barbara Tomassini’s ceramics, decorative motives and colours, express an immediate intensity and deep attraction. The pieces are molded with the careful observation of the variety of techniques and decorative themes.
Her ceramic production is mainly characterized by the glass fusion, a special personally developed technique used for almost 20 years, obtained by blending glass pieces with various colors and thicknesses that need different firing, with ceramic glazes.
The Artist creates extremely modern objects though not forgetting the motives linked to the Italian ceramic tradition.
The craft-made artworks are unique pieces, classic or modern and are also made on commission.
ARTE’ laboratory also carries out canvas, action, fresco painting as well as restorations for public bodies and privates.
Many of Barbara’s works are exhibited in Italian palaces and churches and also in many private homes, including one in Miami – Florida
